Audience feedback

After listening to the feedback from the audience that watched our film, the main conclusion we came to is that beggining of our film is what let the film down, the audience pointed out that the music used at the start of the film made it seem more like a comedy than a thriller and this was not what we were aiming for. Also, it was said that the doctor seen walking through the house at the beggining took a very long time and started to bore the audience, most of the negative comments we recieved were about the opening scene and we realise that that particular paret of our film is the one that needs the most work. There was also some confusion about the initial storyline of our thriller film aswhen the father reappeared as a ghost there was confusion as to whether he was still alive or not. Overall the feedback that we recieved was positive apart from the comments shown above, the idea that we used of the supernatural was commented on as being very effective and different, and interested the audience, also, the enigma codes used seemed to work particularly well, as the audience commented thqat they were left wanting to know how the father died, and is he going to keep reappearing in his daughters life. One particular positive aspect for us as a group was the fact that the fahter daughter relationship between the two main characters was understood, and there were only subtle hints to this relationship but the audience caught onto this and commented it as a positive part of our film.
